To Know a Place, 2023

I rotoscoped myself walking, then cut the frames out of vinyl stickers! I put the stickers up all over Providence during my time at RISD, took photos of them, and turned them into an animation. I often feel like the world is moving very fast around me and I'm just this slow, slow entity trying to move through space and make sense of it all-- this animation attempts to capture that feeling. Below are some of my favorite frames.
